Personal Training - All the motivation, knowledge and dedication you need to reach your goals. One to one training is amazing once you get started and get over any misconceptions...one to one training is for everyone not matter what level of fitness you may be. At the gym, at your home, even outside its up to you! We have been a business now for over 5 years now and have clients who have trained consistantly for that amount of time. They stay with us for many different reasons but one of the main reasons are our prices are very reasonable for the great quality of service we provide. Prices for home visits to be negociated depending on location, times, frequency etc.

Fenton Knights - Junior Octathalon Classes Sat 10am-11am at Myerscough Sports Centre
Fenton Knights is currently in the preliminary stages of development and I would highly appreciate your thoughts and ideas.
Here at Fenton Fitness we want to take fitness classes for the youth of today to a new level. We want to plant the seed of health and fitness early so it becomes a healthy habit that your kids have for the rest of their lives. Being Personal Trainers we know about many aspects regarding health and fitness and live very active lives. We know about nutrition, physiology and anatomy, technique, specific sports conditioning, injury prevention and much much more. We want to pass all our knowledge on so by the time your child reaches sixteen they have a massive head start to achieve anything they want to achieve.
We want to implement the idea of small classes to keep it fun and team based but also keep the individual attention levels for each child very high. The thought is to have classroom time to set off with covering many aspects of fitness and to set mini missions for them to do in their own time. We will then go onto the practical work such as flexibility, strength, speed, endurance, skill, mental focus, balance and core. They will learn about yoga, weight training, cardiovascular training, plyometrics, pilates, self defence and more. There will be very little sports as this class will be teaching the child a way of life it will however condition them to become excellent at which ever sport they chose if indeed they want a sport.
There will hopefully, depending on interest be classes for different levels as it is just as important if not more important for us to get a de-conditioned child who has never really exercised properly going down the right path as it is to improve an already very capable gymnast or footballer. We want to promote a team philosophy where the kids help and motivate each other but at the same time making sure they realise they can achieve whatever they want as an individual so long as they work hard and have belief. We want to teach them they can be the best but that doesn’t make them better than anyone else. A healthy body is a healthy mind…simple as.
There will be off campus out of gym pursuits organised such as indoor wall climbing, fell running, mountain biking and ice skating. There will be other team building excursions to the Velodrome (indoor cycling arena), Go Ape, the Lakes and more. All designed to create a team atmosphere around fitness.
We want to do all this because childhood obesity is a massive problem Drugs, alcohol and cigarettes are massive problems. Poor health and convenience living are massive problems. We want to make sure that the kids involved with Fenton Knights never fall foul of any of these things.
A little about Jenny and myself…we are both very fit and highly motivated individuals. We both compete in the National ‘Cup’ Octathalon event which is the hardest most all round fitness event in the time taken in the country. We both love to do fitness challenges for charity and for fun. Jenny has four children of her own who are very fit and is a qualified teacher. I myself have no children yet but I still skate board, free run and go mountain biking so I guess I still am one! We make a great team and want to get the best out of everyone.
We were thinking classes should start on a Saturday day and we will have a total summer plan in place by May. The initial prices will be £20 for a two hour session with a minimum block booking of 6. Group excursions will be extra and won’t coincide with training sessions. Then hopefully do after school sessions.

"Explosion" at Garstang School of gymnastics Monday 8pm-9pm
An explosive power session that is amazing for any sport or fitness event. Containing advanced plyometrics, strength training, flexibility and alot more...Unreal!!!
"Octahalon" at Myerscough Sports Centre Tuesday 7pm-8pm
A total fitness class which gives you programs to do on your own and recorded progress just so you can see how much your improving....Immense.
"Breathe" at Myerscough aerobics studio Wednesday 6pm-7pm
A flexibilty/ injury prevention class that contains balance, core, yoga, pilates, and advanced flexibility techniques....a must for everyone.
"The Fitbrit" at Myerscough Sports Centre Thursday 6pm-7pm
Another fantastic class for all levels that improves cardio AND muscular ability...the team spirit rocks
"Y Active Health" at Garstang YMCA Fridays 1:30pm-2:30pm
Different everytime so come down stay active and make some friends

Regular Fitness testing - For the clients who choose it we do regular testing both static and dynamic including body fat %, lung capacity, VO2 max, measurements, bleep tests, blood pressure and many more. It all depends on what your goals are how serious you take your training and weather or not you find body stats and performance stats motivating.
Lifestyle coaching - We all have busy scheduals and it is of the upmost importance to find time for your health and fitness. We can help organise and indeed conjest your workouts to work for you no matter how prescious time is for you.
Professional diet programs - For those who need or indeed want to have a specifically designed nutrition program weather it be for muscular gain or fat loss. Getting the body running efficiently is essential in both asthetics and performance.
Supplementation - Advice on all aspects weather it be fat metabolisers, proteins for the muscles, glucosamine for the joints and many others
