On and off i have been a member of various gyms....and like many people not used them very often and more importantly wasted money!

I have been working with Rick for 8 months and now realise why i never used the gym properly - with Rick, there is never one session the same as the other and with a mixture of different cardio, weights and floor exercises each week it is the variety that keeps me going. Every session i wonder "what will i be doing today?"

I am no longer bored

Rick is a fantastic motivator and keeps you focussed for the session on achieving the impossible through his humour and passion for his work.

I would recommend the services of Fenton Fitness to anyone but particulary to someone like myself who could always find a reason not to go to the gym. I now actually look forward to the pain and sweat of goin to the gym each week - and in addition am toning up and becoming a fitter person

Richard Fenton has the unique ability to push you further than you thought possible whilst strangely making it enjoyable! Despite beginning the year 3 stone overweight and very unfit Rik has never made me feel uncomfortable. He combines humour and sensitivity with a huge wealth of knowledge that enables clients to make enormous personal progress.
I am now at my ideal weight and fitter than ten years ago; a lot of that result can only be credited to Rik’s advice and encouragement.

Rik has impressed my husband with his capacity to create effective programmes to suit different abilities. After six months martin has now come off medication for high blood pressure and lost two stone in weight. He finds sessions with Rik challenging yet hugely rewarding in terms of greatly improved fitness and health.

I have worked in the fitness industry as a gym instructor for over 15 years and still require a personal trainer to help push me to my limits and achieve my goals.

Richards approach to personal training is extremely effective- he varies the cardio vascular programme to include boxing and speed training thus ensuring that my body never gets used to the same training technique.

Achievement is progressive and all sessions are structured- Richards cheery disposition, depth of knowledge and determination to ensure his clients reach their goals acts as a positive encouragement to keep going!
I am currently focusing on body building training which means difficult sessions 3 times per week- without Richards encouragement and methods of training; I would not be able to achieve my personal training aims.

“Four months ago I started personal training sessions with Richard, and in that short space of time I’ve seen amazing results!

After having four children I had joined a gym but was stuck in my ‘comfort zone’.  To break out of that I decided to have some personal training sessions.

Ric is very professional but friendly and supportive to someone who was dreading going, and had a preconceived idea that he would be a dictator.  He has researched the medical condition i suffer from and planned an exercise programme that minimises the risk of injury whilst improving my joint stability.  He pushes me to get the most out of each session but i have so much fun doing it the time flys.

It's the best money i've ever spent
